Mark Gosling holds a BA (Honours, 1993) and an MA (1994) in Economics from Simon Fraser University.
Mark joined Columbia Pacific in 1995. He specialises in the assessment of economic damages in personal injury and wrongful death claims. In personal injury claims, he assesses loss of earnings, pension loss, cost of future care and loss of interdependent relationship benefits. In wrongful death claims, he assesses loss of financial support and loss of household services. He has also calculated tax gross-ups, investment management fees, public trustee fees and structured settlements.
Mark has testified many times in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and before the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench (now King’s Bench) and the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal. He is a member of the National Association of Forensic Economics (NAFE).
