Mark Gosling completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Honours) at Simon Fraser University in 1993 and a Master of Arts in Economics at Simon Fraser University in 1994.

Mark joined Columbia Pacific Consulting in 1995. Mark specializes in the assessment of economic damages in personal injury and fatal accident claims. For personal injury claims, this involves estimation of wage loss, pension loss, cost of future care and interdependent relationship benefits. For fatal accident claims, this involves estimation of the loss of financial support and the loss of household services. Mark has also undertaken numerous calculations related to income tax gross-up, investment fund management fees, public trustee fees and structures.

Mark has testified before the Supreme Court of British Columbia on many occasions. Mark has also testified before the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench and the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal. Mark is a member of the National Association of Forensic Economics.
